Eligibility Criteria for Domicile Certificate

To get a Niwas Praman Patra, there are specific criteria as follows:

  • The applicant’s parents must be permanent residents of that state, OR the applicant should reside there for at least three years. 
  • The applicant should be on a Voter’s List. 
  • The applicant should own a house/ property/ plot of land in that state/ UT. 
  • Female applicants who are married to an individual who resides in that state can apply for a Niwas Praman Patra in that particular state.
